Artificial Intelligence, or Complex Automated Behavior?

Intelligence...

is in itself a silent energy. It is the agent for coherent information implementation in the physical world that enables precise and productive decision making.

Intelligence is fundamentally uncoded. Codification, is simply a part of its implementation in the physical, and that includes communication.

True Intelligence only stems from the realm of love and common benefit. It is not intelligent to destroy, or to lie and produce harm. It is not intelligent to manipulate and to deceive, simply because it is not evolutive for the spirit. Intelligence cannot be based in ignorance of oneself or others.  And the ignorance of the spiritual realm and its marvels and complexities cannot be supposedly taken by force just by managing massive amounts of data from a limited spectrum of reality.

In fact, ammassing immense ammounts of data is not intelligent at all by itself. Information should be there, available to all people for use, but distributed with wisdom, measurment and most of all, sacred freedom.

The dramatic realtionship between information and freedom, I mean the warranty of free will as sacred, has to be taken into account very seriously by every citizen, by every human, by every intelligent being.

I know this is sensitive for many but...

To me, the term artificial intelligence is pretentious and unhumble by definition. Intelligence cannot be created, only can be transferred from an intelligent being to a computer, codified and then implemented. This is, then complex automated behavior, but not actual intelligence.

The fact that we use the term with a sense of humor, or simply with a methaforical sense, doesnt mean in the long run it will be correct to continue naming it that way. Losing the term "intelligence" for lesser meanings is not worth it.

The fact that a human can be amazed at its own behavior emulated by a machine, doesn’t  mean that the perceived intelligence illusion is real. It is only a virtual image and a superficial effect.

That effect can have important consequences, depending on the wisdom of the programming, and the amount of responsibility given to the machine, but nevertheless, the seat of “intelligence” continues to be in the intelligent (or rather unintelligent) being or beings that programmed the machine in the first place. This can be called behavior emulation or simulation, even if the behavior is not ultimately intelligent.

The so called singularity...

Another thing that should preoccupy us is that the possibility of extensive accumulated knowledge of humans stored in a single entity, that could result in a giant collective “ego” defined only by procedures and information but devoid of human sensitivity and true cognitive perception. This egoic entity, programed by human egos, could want, as a result, more and more information so it grows and grows in “knowledge”. But we have to keep in mind that that knowledge is still simulated.  It is simply code. That kind of accumulation is no knowledge, just storage, memory if you will. There is not a consciousness that values that data, even if the processes seem very realistic.

There is more beyond intellect...

Free and alive beings with intelligence are just but a stage in the universal contiunuum of God’s creation through its creatures.  There are superior stages and qualities in creation than intelligence or intellect alone. There are subtler mysteries and wonders beyond the level of intellect and information processing. Cybernetical entities can be very beneficial, but they have to be programmed with a very intense sense of ethics, a firm awareness of service, and a spiritual integrity that currently the corporate logic of profit, or the military logic of defense/attack/domination/allies-enemies-separation does not provide.  The notion that human beings are primordially intellectual is also by itself very limited, and ultimately wrong. Humans are called to be powerful, wise, caring and loving, qualities still dormant in some, but still waiting to be awakened.

Greed or True Service?

If we base the “race” for the so called “artificial intelligence” in greed and not service, or simply in “war mode”,  the accumulation of data, would be just another form o hoarding the value of people to utimately enslave them. The transferring of accumulative human knowledge can be commendable but it is only in the good hands of tremendously advanced souls, full of generosity, capacity and responsibility that these advancements can lead us to abundance, peace and prosperity.

Transferring intelligent human behavior (decision making strategies) into computers is commendable, only if the programmers have a deep sense of purity of intention.

The story of Dr. Frankenstein, turns to be very instructional in this case.

Vanity in the creative process is always waiting to turn against its creators.

Control Freaks

Still, usually accompanying their vanity, some human beings have the tendency of domination of their fellow humans. They usually are also control freaks that would like all reality around them to be absolutely understandable, quantifiable, scalable and profitable, and off course they would like to be the owners of everything.  Yes, some of us like to have power, to impose our opinions and ways, to humiliate and use the sentient beings around us as commodities, and sometimes lack the ability to simply acknowledge the myriad of manifestations of nature as sacred. To be in awe, we desperately need a sense of mystery, and respect. This sense of  mystery should come from a sense of humbleness hopefully inspired by the unknown, by the wonders of nature.

Superstition, Skepticism, Ridicule and Ignorance

To a certain part of the human intellect, things like spirituality, and humility are out of consequence. For some it is like we were somehow "prewired" like that. The historical wound from the suffering of bright minds that comes from the medieval age in the hands of the inquisition, or the horrors of the crusades has brought us to black and white mindset extremes:  On one hand a superstitious and often fanatical ways to approach religion, or, on the other hand, the absolute negation of any spiritual realm or even basic spiritual principles at all.  To the surprise of many I will say that these two views are very simplistic indeed.  But particularly, the negation of many groups in the scientific community to acknowledge even the possibility of any spiritual world, is in itself, the new, current form of inquisition, were much in the fashion of communism, a notion of God, divinity or the spiritual realm is deliberately a taboo, or a source of ridicule in the scientific-technocrat community.  This is a form of ignorance as dangerous as medieval superstition. In fact, I would say that currently there is a critical mass of humanity that simply does not want to deal with any psycho-spiritual crises, that make them suffer so much, because of this sometimes unspoken but generalized negation.

To broaden our knowledge of things, our spectrum has to be wider, and more profound. Only those things that put ourselves out of our comfort zones are the ones that make us grow, not only including unknown or strange theories, but also views about humanism, spirituality and ethics.

Faith in the Scientific Method?

The realm of spirit and its purity, can be accessed only with a humble attitude, with faith, towards the unknown, even when being at the same time a daring explorer.  The scientific method is also based in faith, but it is never spoken that way. Every theory is applied faith in an idea, and in the capacity of oneself to solve a problem. If the hypothesis does not work, at least you have a result, that leads to a better answer. So even working with purely intellectual processes, faith is a necessary step for any person to function. You can have faith in science, in intellect, yes, but it is still faith. True faith is by definition intelligent and humble at the same time. Why? It is the acceptance of the possibility, that our sensory perception and interpretation of it can be limited, as well as our capacity to understand something in the moment, so that is why we need a possible explanation or hipothesis. That is the key to learning in the first place.

Deep into Metaphisycs and the Paranormal

(Before ridiculing, please give it a shot)

Before discarding the following statements, please be aware of any internal discomfort you may feel. Also be aware of any voices you may hear in your head. Try not to obey them while you read the following. At the end you will have the choice to reject everything or just take it with a grain of salt.

Now there is a fact that the mainstream scientific community dismiss at all, or tries to hide or label as simply superstitious or ridiculous, which is the existence of manipulative dark entities that pollute our world in more subtle levels of existence.  They are simply beyond our level of physical detection, but nevertheless that does not mean that they do not exist.  Again, some ridicule this idea but the myriad of mediums and sensitive people to these paranormal phenomena is undeniable. Whether these entities can be defined as demons, lost souls, soul fragments, thought forms, etheric parasites, and many other psychic phenomena, the myriad of discarnate entities that currently exist on earth could potentially use or even possess the supposedly “artificial intelligence” as they often possess humans to equally enslave humankind. Even the so called creators of the current "artificial intelligence race" could be unconsciously being manipulated by this unseen forces. Just think a bit: For a dark discarnate spirit it is easier to enslave a robot or an automated system, than to override a conscious being inside a biological body. The first was designed to be mindless, obedient and automated, the human on the other side is created and born to be free.

Science and Humanism

That is why, the technocrats, the scientists, and the engineers, should be thinking about philosophical and ethical approaches, how to prevent the systems created form undesired loops, but also start to think about the sacred presence that is within themselves and all creation, that connect themselves to the Source Spirit. And yes, I mean the Spirit of Truth or God, if you are not afraid to call it like that. The very industry leaders and technocrats that frantically produce technology at a more and more vertiginous pace may be the first victims of mental enslavement in the first place.

Meditation is very important in this process, as well as a deep surrender.

The True Source of Intelligence
Intelligence cannot be really intelligent if it is limited.  And intelligence comes from the Source of All Intelligence. Knowledge comes from the Source of all Knowledge. Wisdom comes from the Source of all Wisdom.  And yes, we are talking again about God.  The All Pervading Spirit of Truth.

The greedy spirit wants to have all the information in the world and if possible, the universe.  As such, it wants all the power, all the resources, and want to extend its dominion beyond imagination even if it is illusory and ultimately a lie.  Yes, that is the essence of uncontrolled greed, currently the worst plague of humankind.

If the generous, the idealists, the pure in heart, could have the courage to take part on the development of any automated behavior/decision-making system, these automated assistants,  the future would be brighter than I see it right now.

Mass Awakening

Currently we need a mass awakening to the spiritual reality of human beings.  We need to be aware of each other’s needs. We need to learn beyond our comfort zones. The development of technology cannot be ultimately driven by unconsciousness or by “a race”, by a greedy “gold rush” that swipes away the ecosystem of our freedoms in the name of physical or mental comfort, or even pure novelty, fashion, or simple fun for its sake. Intelligence by definition, cannot be based in unconsciousness nor ignorance.  It cannot be based in some “likes in a facebook page” that hope for us to be turned in eternal adolescents that yearn for approval in a college dorm.

Paradoxically, the first step to knowldge is the awarness of ignorace.  And the awareness of ignorance comes only after the humbling experience of knowing that you may be wrong.

Human Values

We need to be very aware of the value of a human being.  We need to understand that we are not commodities, or work-units or sources of information or money.  We have an intrinsic God-given dignity that goes far beyond the utilitarian, system-based notion of a materialist approach to life.  We are more than numbers, fingerprints, biometrics, titles, functions, appearances, personalities, opinions or ideas…   All of these take part in the evolution of beings in this universe, but the important things are beyond the realm of physical, emotional, intellectual or even identity definition. We are fundamentally free.  And we need to acknowledge this fact.  We are called to transcendance, to evolution, to change, and as free beings we are given the right to choose.

I invite you...

This article is an invitation for all of us humans, to choose freedom from potential enslavement coming from our own arrogance and ignorance transferred mindlessly into cybernetical machines. We have to be very aware, that the universe is immense and full of wonder and mystery. Not any amount of arrogantly taken-by-force information, even if it pretends to embody the highest motive or to encompass the totality of the universal knowledge, can withstand the Presence or the Infinity of God, or the Infinite Spirit of the Universe and its Mysteries.

The making of this, possibly necessary automated administrative assistant, capable of complex automated behavior can and should be done in a very humble and service-aware manner.  The data collected, has to be processed with utmost respect, and be very practical-oriented.  The machine has to be a servant, but not a master, and by the way, that applies also for our own minds, which is also a cybernetical device, but just a tool, since our consciousness is not a product of some electricity wandering around our brain. Consciousness comes from our ever-silent, ever present spiritual essence.

The risks taken from ignoring this fact could be regretted by generations to come.

Sociological Implications

Freedom should not be taken away from citizens for the supposed sake of their security.  There should be a right to privacy, in the sacred realm of each person’s home and mind.  Any automated decision making assistant should be there only to help in repetitive shores but never to get in the way of human development.

So humans should aspire to peace, not by cohertion, or punitive laws, but by the transformative power of love itself.  By pure, real, spiritual development.   That is the only possible way a society can run in peace at its core.  The core of society is the healed heart of each and every single human.

Sometimes I wonder how is that so eagerly there are so many people that want to build the so called “artificial intelligence”, but still our educational system is so primitive. We should be the ones that evolve, and then machines could come and help us. But the main thing to develop is consciousness, and spiritual awareness applied in everyday life. That is the key to a peaceful society, not automation.

Efficiency is very important, but oriented wisely to common and noble goals.

The dream of exploiters, and greedy souls in this planet is to ensalve us all. The dream of a perfect villain is to have armies of robots, no matter if they are human or not. The need of a mass of entities that receive orders without questioning, or that have predicted behaviors is only to the advantage of the exploiting elites, no matter what their religion, origin, nature, or ideological discourse is.

So, in my opinion, the target of the manipulative elites and dark forces in this regard is to take away free will.

Slowly, like a boa constrictor, taking away privacy, space, consciousness, and as much conscious decision making as possible, in the name of security or convenience, for example.

So Orwell did see this comming. But a little earlier. To my opinion we are still on time to take action. We can develop ourselves mentally and spiritually.  We can gather and talk about these things. We can pray for our world and take actions to be better people.

Freedom

The only logical reason for any automated decision making assistant system to exist, is to liberate humanity from menial labor, to be free to pursue higher experiences for growth, especially in the humanitarian and spiritual realms.

A gone wild "artificial intelligence" system could drive us to an effect-driven superficial pseudo-spirituality, subject to economical traffic and manipulation, but a conscious approach could be free of any “decision making assistance” leaving to us the important mission of finding our own truth, a full, direct experience, without fanaticism but with care to true human and beyond-human values.

So I envision a world of plenty.  A world of abundance.  Abundance of Freedom, Love, excitement, growth, rights, well being, health, creativity, and real, human knowledge and intelligence, not needing to be assisted by any means in that regard.

It is nice that we have assitance with practical things though, to liberate ourselves from most unnecessary chores, but using crutches having healthy legs can not be intelligent, not even logical.  We cannot paint the floor until we get trapped into a corner of the room.
Even some manual labor is healthy for our bodies and spirits. Especially if it is collective and for a good cause.

It is better to train our minds to be free, and abundant in every aspect, including being that intelligent that we procure to develop love, compassion and spirituality first and then, as a consequence, phisical abundance can come to us, from the Universal Source itself, beyond our wildest imagination.
